My name is Camille Grace Vereen, and I am the daughter of Mr. Phillip and Dr. Sabrina Vereen. I am 17 years old and a senior at J.D. Clement Early College High School (ECHS) in Durham, North Carolina.

As a student in the Early College Program, I have earned over 50 college credits while completing my high school education. This unique experience has given me a head start toward my bachelor’s degree and exposed me firsthand to the rigor, discipline, and opportunity of a college-level education.

My goal is to attend a four-year university where I can further explore my interests in economics, environmental science, and real estate.

I am honored to be accepted into the 2025 Debutante Cotillion Program, hosted by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated – Alpha Zeta Omega Chapter. This program provides young women with opportunities for cultural enrichment, personal growth, leadership development, and college scholarships through fundraising efforts. With an entrepreneurial mindset, I see Cotillion as a chance to explore and share my passion for fundraising. I am raising scholarship funds for my college education, and debutantes are crowned based on the highest amount raised. I would be grateful for your support!
